My Story
I’ve spent my career telling stories in many different forms. As a journalist, I’ve worked in national newsrooms in the UK, reported from Afghanistan, and later wrote columns and features from Cyprus. My novels have reached readers worldwide in multiple languages, and I continue to write fiction that explores people and places with heart.
Alongside my own work, I’ve written for others. Ghostwriting has taken me from the world of politics to business and beyond — shaping memoirs, books, and even lighter fiction. Discretion is part of the job, but every project has deepened my respect for the trust involved in turning someone else’s experiences or ideas into words.
Now based in Ireland, I divide my time between writing, editing, and life with my horses. I also draw for pleasure, mostly horses — some of which you’ll find here.
At the centre of everything I do is a belief that stories matter. Whether they are imagined or lived, they connect us, and they deserve to be told well.
