Great Scott: Interviewing an Olympic Legend

They say you should never meet your heroes, but every now and then, you absolutely should.

Interviewing Scott Brash for the second issue of Enso Magazine was one of those moments. Despite being one of the most recognisable names in showjumping – an Olympic gold medallist, Rolex Grand Slam winner, and former World Number One – Scott is remarkably modest.

What struck me most was not the medals or the glamour of his career, but the quiet intensity with which he speaks about horses. For him, everything begins and ends with them.

In the article - which you can read here - Scott talks about his top horses as individuals, about the joy of building trust, and the importance of staying balanced, not only in the saddle, but in life.

This was a really nice chat with an equestrian at the top of his game who who, thankfully, did not disappoint.
